Our jerky is carefully crafted to ensure as many people as possible not only can consume our product, but also enjoy it. Who said you have to choose between function and flavor? Not us. All Jack & Friends® jerky mimics the texture and appearance of real meat, but uses completely plant-based ingredients. The combination of jackfruit and pea protein provides a textural experience unlike any other meat alternative and allows for limitless flavor options. Our flagship Jack & Tom variety uses tomatoes, poblano peppers, and spices to pack each bite with bold, savory flavor and a spicy kick.
Jessica Kwong, a Cornell graduate with a bachelor’s in food science, had a difficult choice to make before graduating; accept a full-time return offer from one of the world’s largest snack companies, or pursue her own entrepreneurial venture. After much consideration (and stress), she used her food science skills to develop her product, and founded Jack & Friends right after graduating. Since launching Jack & Friends first product in March 2019, Jessica continues to manage and grow the company while based out of New York and is eager to share Jack & Friends with even more people of all lifestyles to enjoy!
