In Thailand there is a very popular seafood dipping sauce that is found virtually all around the country. It is known as "Nam Jim Seafood" sauce. My mom has been making this sauce since I was a child using a special recipe that has been in our family for generations.
When I came to America I was surprised that many here have never experienced such a wonderful spicy and flavorful sauce. Some similar Thai-style sauces that are commercially available here are not even close in freshness and flavor to my homemade sauce. They contain some ingredients that I can't even pronounce. There simply is no comparison to the freshness and wonderful flavor of Nam Jim by Sutta.
